Speed cushions on county-maintained roads require county approval under the RNTMP Part II program (Sec. 98-14 / Ordinance 2023-071). The County holds a mandatory workshop and a formal survey — 2/3 of abutting owners must agree for it to proceed.

This petition will be submitted (1) to the Sorrento East Property Owners Association Board of Directors and (2) to Sarasota County Public Works as formal opposition to any Residential Neighborhood Traffic Management Program (RNTMP) request for speed cushions on Sorrento East streets.
